What to expect
Visiting for the First Time?
We look forward to meeting you at Sovereign Grace Chapel and hope you may find answers to some of your questions here.
Is there anything for my children?
Our Children’s Sunday School and Nursery during the service are temporarily suspended. We look forward to reinstating these as soon as we can. Our Sunday School classes offer excellent Bible teaching and discussion for children ages 3 through middle school.
We also have a youth group which meets on Tuesday evenings for children in grades 7-12. For more information regarding these groups see our ministries page.
What time and how long are your services?
We are currently space-sharing with another church and our regular Sunday services start at 12:00noon at 515 Dennison Drive in Southbridge. The service usually lasts for about an hour and 15 minutes with fellowship time encouraged afterwards.
What happens on a typical Sunday?
Our Sunday mornings are a wonderful time of worship, learning, and fellowship. The worship music is led by a small team of musicians and singers who use a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary Christian songs to lead in praise and worship. We enjoy times of prayer, the reading of God's Word and the expository preaching of the gospel by our pastor, other elders, or occasionally by another gifted teacher. Please feel free to humbly express yourself in worship by lifting your hands or clapping if you feel led to do so.
How should I dress?
Sovereign Grace Chapel is a church with a wide variety of people from all walks of life. Having no cultural or economic standards to which we conform, you will be welcomed whether you dress casually or formally.
